나는 깨끗한 그릇인가? (Am I a clean vessel?)
오늘 생각나는 말씀…
[2Tim 2:20-21]
20 큰 집에는 금과 은의 그릇이 있을 뿐 아니요 나무와 질그릇도 있어귀히 쓰는 것도 있고 천히 쓰는 것도 있나니
21 그러므로 누구든지 이런 것에서 자기를 깨끗하게 하면 귀히 쓰는 그릇이 되어
거룩하고 주인의 쓰심에 합당하며 모든 선한 일에 예비함이 되리라
20 Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels,
but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor.
21 Therefore, if a man cleanses himself from these [things],
he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.
내가 배운 것, 가치관, 많은 것이 비 성서적이다.
예를 들면,
“성공하라”,
“큰 사람 되라”,
“Boys be ambitious”,
“위대한 주님의 종이 되라”.
“머리 되고 꼬리 되지 말라”,
“야베스의 기도를 들어 주신다”,
“들어와도 복을 받고 나가도 복 받는다”.
“사도 바울 같은 위대한 주님의 일군이 되자”
등등…
내가 이해한 바로는
내가 읽은 성경은 그렇게 말하지 않는다.
큰 그릇 귀한 그릇은 주인(하나님)의 주권이고
내 몫은 깨끗한 그릇이 되는 것이며
그것은 부단히 계속해야 한다는 것이다.
오늘 깨끗했다고 내일도 깨끗한 그릇일 수 없기 때문에…
주인께서 중요한 일에 (당신이 주인이라 하더라도)
크지만 더러운 그릇, 비싸지만 더러운 그릇을 쓰실까?
아니다. 당연히 깨끗한 그릇을 쓰신다.
깨끗한 그릇이 (귀히) 쓰이는 그릇이 되는 것이다.
주님 앞에 (귀히) 쓰임 받기 원하는 분
자녀가 주님 앞에 (귀히) 쓰임 받는 사람이 되길 원하는 분
주님의 일군으로 자신을 드리길 원하는 분
크게 귀하게 되는데 결코 관심쓰지 마시오.
주님 앞에 깨끗한 그릇으로 존재하는데 마음 쓰십시오.
자신을 …
주님의 귀한/큰 종이라고 여기는 분들.
주님의 귀한/큰 종이라는 말을 듣는 분들.
매 순간 깨끗한 그릇으로 존재하기에 전심전력 하십시오.
큰 그릇은 깨끗이 닦기가 더 힘이 듭니다.
크지만 불결한 그릇이 되어 주님께 욕을 돌리지 마십시오.
주님의 일은
주님께서주님의 기쁘신 뜻 대로
선하게 이루신다.
너는
자기를 깨끗이 하여 깨끗한 그릇이 되라.
그리하여 모든 선한 일에 예비된 그릇이 되라.
그리하여 거룩하고 주인의 쓰심에 합당한 그릇이 되라.
말씀의 요점이라 생각합니다.
나 자신에게 타이른다.
작아도 깨끗한 그릇으로 남는 것이 나의 몫이다.
나는 깨끗한 그릇인가?
깨끗한 그릇으로 존재하기 위해 힘쓰는가?

우리 주님께서 우리를 가엽고 귀엽게 봐 주셔서 잘 해 주실꺼라고 믿어 ㅎㅎㅎ

주님께서 혼내시는 것은 그야말로 참고 참다가 어쩔 수 없을 때 쓰시는 최후의 방법 .

“누구든지 이런 것에서 자기를 깨끗하게 하면…”이라고 한 것 보면 사람 몫 이 확실…
인간은 연약하니 주님의 은혜와 자비를 간구해야 할 듯…
또 자기를 더럽다 느끼는 사람은 깨끗히 하고자 할 것이고,
깨끗하다 여기는 자는 그냥 그대로 더럽게 있을 것이고…
이 질문은 수준이 높은 분의 질문인 듯
성경에 보여준 예는 하나님께 속한 것을 인간 세계의 것에 비유해 설명한 것이어서
역으로 인간 세계의 것을 영적인 것에 바로 대입하여 설명하는 것은 순환 논리의 오류라고 생각.
예를 들면 “그릇 깨끗이 씻어 관리하는 것도 주인의 몫”이라는 것은
우리 일상생활에서는 당연한 사실이나
사도 바울의 예에서는 사람을 그릇이라 비유하여 스스로 깨끗하게 하라고 하셨으니까.

보통 사람이라서 이렇게 생각하는 것을 좋아함.

진실한 사람, 간절한 사람은(실패 할지라도 자신을 깨끗이 하려하는…)
주님께서 쓰시기 전 깨끗이 해주신다고 봅니다.
[이사야 6:5-8] 을 보면
5 그 때에 내가 말하되 화로다 나여 망하게 되었도다 나는 입술이 부정한 사람이요
나는 입술이 부정한 백성 중에 거주하면서 만군의 여호와이신 왕을 뵈었음이로다 하였더라
6 그 때에 그 스랍 중의 하나가 부젓가락으로 제단에서 집은 바 핀 숯을 손에 가지고 내게로 날아와서
7 그것을 내 입술에 대며 이르되 보라 이것이 네 입에 닿았으니
네 악이 제하여졌고 네 죄가 사하여졌느니라 하더라
8 내가 또 주의 목소리를 들으니 주께서 이르시되
내가 누구를 보내며 누가 우리를 위하여 갈꼬 하시니
그 때에 내가 이르되 내가 여기 있나이다 나를 보내소서
그냥저냥 사는 사람은 그냥 내버려 두시고…
마음의 진실함이 중요한 듯합니다.
